The English are often said to be the 1.worst language learners in the world. They think that because everyone else 2.speaks English, they don't need to learn any other languages. Of course, because most Germans speak English well, they soon start speaking it, 10. which means i never practise speaking German!

6. The teenagers i met in UK spoke so much S L A N G that i couldn't understand them
7. When we were in Peru i managed to M A K E out a few words of Spanish
8. She's deaf so she uses S I G N language to communicate
9. i got letter from my lawyer. I don't understand a word of it. It's I N C O M P R E H E N S I B L E
